3 million Businesses Records Now available

Following an agreement with IDS Media Group in Newry, UK direct marketing specialist, Blue Sheep, has added the IDS Dataset to its Business Universe. This means that Blue Sheep’s total Business Universe for the British Isles has expanded to over three million records.

IDS’ information will enable Blue Sheep to supply details of around 200,000 business locations in the Republic of Ireland and 70,000 in Northern Ireland.

As the largest supplier of business to business direct marketing information in Ireland, IDS, which employs 50 people, provides contact details of every business. With up to 10 different contact names available and UK 1992 SIC codes, this dataset fills an important gap in Blue Sheep’s Business Universe. The company’s data also provides actual numbers of staff, e-mail and web addresses of both a company as well as an individual, number of telephone lines and extensions, number of personal computers and whether or not there is a PC network. This is in addition to the estimated amount of telecom spend and 10-digit grid references, Postaim – Republic of Ireland mailsort – company vehicles indicator and quality standards indicator, Investors in people, import/export, head office and number of branches both inside and outside Ireland.
